Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal works by targeting the pigment located in the hair follicles. The hair follicle absorbs the laser light and then converts the light to heat. The heat damages the follicle and inactivates the cell's ability to produce hair without affecting the cells that surround it.

You will see significantly less hair with each treatment, ultimately resulting in your goal of permanent hair reduction. Hair grows in 3 cycles: active, dormant, and shedding/falling out. Hair must be in an active growth stage during treatment, which is why multiple treatments are necessary to achieve desired results.

The Vascular Beam (VBeam) Laser

The VBeam Laser, or Vascular Beam Laser, is a pulsed dye laser. It emits a beam of light to heat a targeted area of vascular tissue. For added patient comfort, the VBeam laser is equipped with the Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD™). This feature cools the upper layers of the skin prior to the laser burst.
